The infamous instant and cup noodles were invented by the founder of Nissin Foods: Momofuku Ando. On a trip to the U.S in 1966, he noticed Americans eating noodles out of cups with forks instead of using bowls and chopsticks. After that, Cup Noodles became a worldwide phenomenon.
In 1972, Nissin put its roots in the U.S. and started its production of Top Ramen the first instant ramen manufactured and sold in the U.S. Ever since, Nissin Foods USA has made and produced a continuous stream of new and original products for the hungry, noodle-loving Americans.
