About Longdan Supermarket

Longdan Supermarket is a well‑established UK retailer specialising in premium Asian food, health and wellness products.  Founded in 1998, we have grown to fourteen supermarkets and two warehouses across the country, offering more than 12 000 food, beverage and lifestyle items to the Vietnamese community and all Asian‑food enthusiasts.  Our mission is to deliver a first‑rate shopping experience and high‑quality products to every customer.

Our Mission & Next Phase

We are entering the next phase of our growth by opening more stores through franchise partnerships.  We are looking for entrepreneurs who share our commitment to quality and customer service.  Each franchisee will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to run their store successfully, including operational training, marketing guidance and access to our technology platforms.

Technology Provided to Franchisees

As a Longdan franchisee, you gain access to the same technology platforms that power our own stores:

  • WhatsApp Business platform – We integrate Meta’s WhatsApp Business Cloud API with our internal systems to provide a unified inbox and automation tools for customer communications.  Franchisees can:
    • Send and receive WhatsApp messages for customer support, order updates and promotional campaigns.
    • Create and manage WhatsApp message templates, monitor delivery statuses and view conversation analytics.
    • Integrate WhatsApp messaging with in‑store systems such as CRM, POS and inventory tools.
    • Ensure compliance with Meta’s policies and customer data‑privacy expectations.
      We use WhatsApp Business Platform data solely to enable and support these communications; it is never used for advertising, profiling or any purpose outside of delivering WhatsApp Business services.
  • Point‑of‑sale (POS) system – Longdan’s bespoke POS solution, proven across more than 14 stores, includes handheld scanning devices that integrate directly with the system.  It supports core store functions such as stock‑takes, receiving deliveries and transaction processing.
  • Dojo e‑learning platform – Our Dojo online learning system provides guided videos and documentation to give franchisees the knowledge they need to run a retail store successfully, from day‑to‑day operations to best practices.

Data Use

We use WhatsApp Business Platform data solely to enable and support communications on behalf of our clients (franchisee stores and partner supermarkets). We do not use this data for advertising, profiling or any purpose outside of delivering WhatsApp Business services. Our use of data aligns with Meta’s platform terms and policies.
