Lee Kum Kee

After leaving a pot of oyster soup boiling, Mr Lee Kum Sheung tasted the thick sauce left behind, and discovered a new flavour he had never tasted. He called this concoction “oyster sauce”, and since then founded the company Lee Kum Kee, selling all types of Chinese condiments.

Lee Kum Kee is the best and largest known Chinese sauce brand globally, featuring in many mainstream grocery stores.
