Cooking instruction with rice cooker


1. Jasmine rice / KDM rice

Step 1: Put 1 cup of rice into rice cooker.

Step 2: Add 1 - 1.5 cup of water. 

Step 3: Cover and turn on the rice cooker. 

Step 4: Cook until ready. 


2. Brown rice

Step 1: Soak in water for 6 - 8 hours, then wash in water thoroughly before putting into rice cooker. 

Step 2: Cover with water about 2 - 2.5 cm. 

Step 3: Cover and turn on the rice cooker. 

Step 4: Cook until ready.


3. Sushi rice

Step 1: Wash in water thoroughly before putting rice cooker. 

Step 2: Cover with water about 2 - 2.5 cm. 

Step 3: Cover and turn on the rice cooker. 

Step 4: Cook until ready.


4. Jasmine broken rice

Step 1: Put 1 cup into rice cooker. Wash in water thoroughly, then soak in water 20 minutes. 

Step 2: Add 1 - 1.5 cup of water. 

Step 3: Cover and turn on the rice cooker. 

Step 4: Cook until ready.

Step 5: Do not open the lid, incubate for another 10 - 15 minutes. 


5. Glutinous rice

Step 1: Soak in warm water for 1 hour.

Step 2: Cover the glutinous rice with water to about 1.5 - 2cm and add a little salt.

Step 3: Cover and turn on rice cooker.

Step 4: Cook until ready.

Step 3: Cover and cooking in high heat around 15 - 18 minutes until the water has been absorbed.

Step 4: Let the rice sit for at least 5 minutes. Fluff up the rice with a fork and serve.

Step 1: Soak in water for 6 - 8 hours, then wash in water thoroughly before putting into the cooker. 

Step 2: Cover with water about 2 - 2.5 cm.
